I am writing you from the throes of ‘HOLY SCHNOODLES I WROTE A WHOLE COOKBOOK’ and tour planning; opening a restaurant in a foreign land; shifting a business that has been around nearly a decade; and also trying to find time to moisturize my darn face and sleep a solid 8 hours while also being a mom and wife and keep the proverbial boats afloat.
LOOK AT THIS MOODBOARD THOUGH! OMG! Ahem. Now….
None of these are complaints, but they are also…realities. In all of it, I made the decision that month that I am moving from a weekly/whenever I have time model to a ONCE A MONTH long-form piece. Instead of just sharing recipes, I will be sharing all sorts of things.
Staring in RIGHT NOW, and from here on out…I will be sharing a once a month ‘thing’. A travelogue. A musing. All delivered by the second week of the month.
And it will ALWAYS include a recipe.
All of it will be for paid subscribers only. And each installment will also have things like…
* A Map of a City that I love and everything in it
* A link to a free cooking class you can attend on RecipeKick.tv
* A cool travel itinerary with recommendations (like this one)
* Exclusive announcements and early registration for events (like the book tour)
And it will remain….mostly french. But as you see here? Not always...French ;)
This month? A travelogue to the dolomties, a resort you must visit, and a make it all the time Cabbage Salad (that is perfect for the rest of Spring and into summer). This is May’s post. June’s post will be posted soooooon. I have a huge backlog and it took me a minute to work through it. See also…Cookbook.
